COMPLETED
The first annual northern
Michigan
gathering at NLPW is completed and I am happy to report a
great success. We had a great time shooting in several
locations as well as lots of good conversation around the
campfire each night. Mother Nature blessed us with beautiful
skies and pleasant temperatures. What more can you ask?
Added to our "mini-workshop" in platinum printing was a
demonstration of the wet plate collodion process by Joe
Smigiel as well as a presentation of the works of Michael
Kenna, Harry Callahan, Ruth Bernhard among others by gallery
owner and AIPAD menber,
Tom
Halsted.
If
anything, time was too short, so next year look for an
expanded version so we can fit more into the schedule. Hope to
see you then! |
